A very special Thorens ...fully restored TD160B MKII +
with NOS "new, old stock"  SME 3009-S2 improved  including new Sumiko Olympia Cartridge 
SME was a find in amongst a lot of other audio gear  unused in its original packaging - see image
In my estimation, one of the best decks ever made with the best tonearm design from this period. Great engineering.

Fully restored and a fine performer, all motor bearing groups relubricated along with centr bearing.  
The lid shows signs of use and cleaning - some minor marks normal for lids from this period. 

There are various cartridge options with this turntable - if you have your own and wish me to remove the Olympia, that isnt a problem - the TD160 with SME tonearm only, represents £995  in this listing.
